The pub is located in the town of Penicuik, with a strong community feel, the developers were keen to preserve one of the oldest buildings in the town. Mindful of the C-Listed status, the pub was renovated and modernised for today’s clientele. A new state-of-the-art kitchen and bar facilities were installed as creating an open plan bar and restaurant area. The beer garden was landscaped, as well as a complete refurbishment to the first-floor apartment.
